At the age of 8, Jason began playing classical and jazz trumpet, and quickly became what has come to be called a “band nerd”. He went to, and won medals at, festivals across the country, and has parlayed that experience into the modern music realm, having taught himself saxophone, percussion, and instrumental and vocal arrangement. Jason has recorded albums and played across the country with several different bands and has been singing professionally since 1993.
Jason's Influences: Warren Haynes, Lennon/McCartney, Phil Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Greg Graffin (of Bad Religion), Dave Gilmour, Bobby Darin and George Michael
Factoid: These days, Jason enjoys paintball, biking, baseball, writing and most of all being a band nerd and knowing far too much about obscure crap for his own good. |
